Here at Russian Lessons .Net we have created several Russian language lessons to help you learn the basics of the Russian Language. This page gives you a summary of each lesson with a short description.

Getting Started - Some general tips to help you start learning the Russian language.

Lesson 1

Russian Language Lesson 1 - Russian Alphabet - This is our first lesson to help you learn the Russian alphabet. Once you know the Russian alphabet you should be able to read signs and general Russian text out loud.

Lesson 2

Russian Language Lesson 2 - Numbers - This lessons will introduce you to Russian numbers so you will be able to count in Russian. It will also help you get used to reading in the Russian alphabet.

Lesson 3

Russian Language Lesson 3 - Basic Russian Phrases - Our third Russian language lesson will introduce you to some common Russian phrases. These are the very basics you will need or travelling in Russia.

Lesson 4

Russian Language Lesson 4 - In a bar or Café - Lesson 4 Introduces you to some more common Russian phrases. In particular the basic phrases you will are likely t use in a bar or café.

Lesson 5

Russian Language Lesson 5 - Verbs and Pronouns - This is our first lessons that includes some Russian grammar. It allows you to start forming some simple Russian sentences. Importantly it introduces the concept of conjugating Russian verbs.

Lesson 6

Russian Language Lesson 6 - Nouns - Out sixth lesson also concerns some important basic grammar. It introducers the concept of cases. The lessons teaches you how to create words in the accusative casse.

Lesson 7

Russian Language Lesson 7 - I Love ... - A practical lesson to help reinforce the grammar concepts learnt in Russian lessons 5 and 6. Using the verb for I love it is possible to tell people some of your hobbies.

Russian Language Lesson 8 - In/At/On - This lessons introduces the Russian prepositional case. It teaches you how to construction sentences that use the words “in”, “on” and “at”

Lesson 9

Russian Language Lesson 9 - Family - This lesson introduces words that you can use to describe your family. A popular topic of conversation with new fiends. This lesson also introduces you to possessive pronouns.

Lesson 10

Russian Language Lesson 10 - Genitive Case - This lesson introduces the Russian genitive case. This is an important case that is used to indicate possession.

Lesson 11

Russian Language Lesson 11 - Plurals - We take a rest from leaning new cases for a moment and talk about plurals. This lesson is very important as it is a concept that is always used.

Lesson 12

Russian Language Lesson 12 - Language Review - Time for a rest!! This lesson is just to help you consolidate what you already know. There is no new grammar in this lesson, but maybe a little bit of new vocabulary. Also a good chance to review some of the smallest words in Russian.
