Hi, everybody!
Again have presentation for translation and of course a lot of questions Very Happy

The first question related to the name of a slide (so no context, just a word-combination)
Количество депозитов, которые используются
A number of deposits being used

Am I right from grammar point of view of "being" should not be written here?

The second question is more "lexical"
Again it is just the name of a slide, no context

Клиенты, которые прекратили сотрудничество с банками и причины прекращения сотрудничества
Clients who ceased relationship with banks and reasons for relationship break

Is it OK? I doubt about the verb "ceased" and word-combination "relationship break"

By the way, can anyone explain, is there any difference between relationship and relations?

Thanks a lot in advance!!!!

Í´m not a native English speaker, but as far as I know:

The first sentence seems to be OK. If it´s just the name of a slide, perhaps it doesn´t need the first "A". so: "Number of deposits being used"

The second one also seems to be OK. Perhaps "clients who ceased THEIR relationship...." but I´m not sure. I´m almost sure that "ceased" and "relationship break" are alright. Can´t tell you about the differences between "relations" and "relationship"

Am a native speaker Smile. I know this is an older thread, but maybe the question still stands:

1. Most titles, leave the articles and "being" off. "Number of deposits used" is correct.

2. "Former clients" has the same meaning, with fewer words. "Reason for leaving" has the same meaning, again with fewer words.

3. In English, "relations" is used for countries or large groups: "Relations between the U.S. and Russia are improving". Sometimes, it is used to mean a physical relationship, so you want to be careful.

"Relationship" is used when you mean two people: "The friends had a close relationship".
