I think one of the best ways to learn or remember things is to write them down. If there is a Russian word or symbol which is hard to remember, try to write it down. You can also try to write some words down in Russian which you would like to train, write the same word in your language after it and then hide the word in your language with your hand and try to say and understand the Russian word.
